CONTINUOUS GROWTH TO GOVERN THE COMPLEXITY OF PROJECTS

WORDS FROM THE FOUNDERS

Starching closed out 2023 with a very positive balance: a continuous revenue growth, a consistent trend over recent years, accompanied by an increase in employees, now reaching 140 staff members. In 2022, the production value was €15.2 million compared to the previous year’s €12.7 million, and for 2023, it reached around €17 million. This growth is also reflected in the outlook for 2024.

Revenue growth is supported by strong know-how gained from over thirty years of activity, with recognized leadership in managing large-scale projects and construction sites, excellence in enhancing existing properties and new constructions. In recent months, activities in project and construction management have been increased, particularly focusing on luxury hospitality.

The flagship project of 2023 was undoubtedly the Six Senses Roma, a kind of manifesto for luxury hospitality: an operation where the relationship of trust with the client, which started from the advisory in the initial stages of the process, has reached the economic and financial management of the project, the construction site, and the turnkey delivery to the new owner.

“Our vision for 2024 is clear: to become a leading architecture and engineering firm on both the national and international scene, capable of providing our clients with comprehensive services through external acquisitions, while also ensuring the professional growth of our employees and internally distributing the value we produce,” declares Maria Paola Pontarollo, co-founder and director of Starching.

From the Levante Waterfront in Genoa to the real estate initiative Milano 3.0, from the Enel headquarters in Rome to the new University of Milan campus, Starching is involved in numerous urban regeneration projects, providing integrated services, and overseeing all stages of project development, with attention to the entire lifecycle of the works. While our mission is to assist clients in managing the complexity of large projects, we are also committed to being attractive to resources that recognize Starching for professional growth. This undoubtedly involves the professional training of employees, an aspect on which Starching consistently invests to ensure that skills are the added value recognized by project partners and clients.

“For the future, we aim to focus on enhancement, leveraging the expertise of our design and integrated professional services firm, which is strongly dedicated to understanding and addressing client expectations and the challenges associated with their investments,” declares Marcello Cerea, co-founder, and director of Starching.
